Effective: August 24, 2026
This policy explains how Connect Lawyer (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information submitted through this website.
Information we collect
We collect identifiers and contact information such as your name, email, telephone number, ZIP code, and the information you choose to provide about your inquiry. This may include the accident state and date. This also includes your answers to the case-screening questions. We also collect technical and referral information such as IP address, browser/device data, referring URL, landing URL, affiliate/subsource identifiers, compliance certificate URL, and UTM or advertising parameters.
How we use and disclose information
We use information to respond to your request; match or connect you with independent attorneys and legal service providers; operate, secure, measure, and improve the website; document consent; attribute leads to referral partners; prevent fraud; comply with law; and protect rights and safety. We may disclose information to participating attorneys, lead management and delivery providers (including LeadProsper), consent verification providers (including TrustedForm), legal service and call-center providers, hosting and messaging vendors (including Telegram for lead delivery), referral partners for attribution and reconciliation, professional advisers, and authorities when legally required.
Cookies and browser storage
Necessary storage supports the form, your privacy choice, security, session attribution, and consent documentation. TrustedForm may process page, device, and form-interaction information to generate a compliance certificate when you use the form. If you accept optional storage, we may keep referral attribution for up to 30 days. You can revisit Cookie choices in the footer. This version does not place third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
Retention and security
We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and consent records. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or messaging platform is completely secure. Do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account details, medical records, or other unnecessary sensitive data.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable rights. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. Referral disclosures may be treated as “sharing” or a “sale” under some state laws.
To make a privacy request or opt out of covered sharing, call 800-230-6587. We may need to verify your identity. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted. Browser-based Global Privacy Control signals will be treated as opt-out requests where legally required.
Children and changes
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will post the new effective date here.
